Grapefruit with Walnut Powder
The Grapefruit tree is considered one of the Seven Wonders of Barbados, alongside a cave, church and a synagogue. You can now enjoy some of the benefits of this storehouse of Vitamin C. Grapefruit is known to promote healthy skin and also has antiseptic and antioxidant properties, making it as important as your last cuppa coffee of the day. To add greater powers, we have added that godly complexion enhancer called Walnut in its powdered form.
Ginger Soap
The Gingerbread man was invented by Queen Elizabeth I of England, who presented her courtiers with their Gingerbread lookalikes. Not just Gingerbread, this ancient root also has proven antioxidant properties, making it a must-have in every skin conscious person's secret armory. It has a rejuvenating effect on the skin and with the crushed ginger granules embedded in it, you can be assured of a wholesome bath experience.
Cucumber Soap
Cucumbers were used by Romans to treat scorpion bites, poor eyesight and to scare away mice. But they are also good for the skin. Good enough that they can help soothe and soften your skin to get your relaxed in no time. Cucumbers share the same level of hydrogen as our skin and therefore, it becomes easier for cucumber to mask all the problem areas. And as for their cooling effect? It's not without reason that people say 'Cool as a cucumber', eh?
Eucalyptus Soap
A 470 ft. high Eucalyptus tree in Australia is the tallest in the world. If you lived on the 38th floor of a building, you could reach out of your window and pluck fresh leaves. Eucalyptus offers many medicinal benefits and this soap in particular will help refresh the body. Rub it well and its invigorating fragrance will energize you, stimulating blood flow and also have a good deodorizing effect.
Coconut Soap
Historians believe that coconut trees were among the earliest sources of raw materials for cosmetics, used as far back as 4000 BC and the Coconut continues to be so. Coconut oil's ability to nourish and heal the skin has been known in the tropics for hundreds of years. For the skin, it acts as an effective moisturizer on all skin types, including dry skin. It helps control dryness and flaking of skins also.
A SOAP IS NOT JUST A SOAP
That little bar which you pick and use next to your skin for at least 10 minutes every morning , shouldn’t it be made of only the best? With increasing awareness about the harmful effect chemicals leave on our skin, we at Gulnar have come up with a wide range of handmade soaps, using the best of natural, botanical ingredients only.
And we mean every bit of that ‘wide’ – we have a maddening range of 28 soaps and always growing! Our 100% Natural range does not contain even a drop of any chemical and our Glycerine soaps, with natural embeds, contain a small amount of non-natural ingredients like preservatives to keep the products for a longer period. But trust us – those are ingredients that have absolutely no effect on your skin.
In fact people get so carried away with our soaps that they have actually tried eating them. Flattering but hold on till we develop edible soaps. Till then, stick to bathing.
